Questions

Hey all,

I'm sorry my questions are late this week...I lost track of time and realized this afternoon I hadn't sent them in. Anyway, here they are:

  1. Killingsworth and Palmer present the ways in which the Environmental Impact Statement is not usable to its intended audience. In what ways could effective visual design play a role in making these types of documents more usable?
  2. In what ways can the Environmental Impact Statement be considered ideological? How does this line up with Barton and Barton’s description of ideology. Can B&B’s solutions be applied to functional documents?
  3. How might we link Freire’s article to Barton and Barton’s ideas of inclusion and exclusion?
